You know I love you, right? That I am dedicated to you like no other candy (even though I have been sorely tested by other peanut butter/chocolate combinations), you know that right? So why!? Why do you feel it is necessary to tempt me so? You have nothing to prove to me! You now come in "limited edition" peanut butter lovers. You know I love your peanut butter most of all.
I tried you in dark chocolate, something I could resist easily because the chocolate over-powered your sugary peanut butter and what is the point of that? I could overlook the flagrant excess of your "big cup" version, I mean, even I know too much of a good thing. But this, this is much too much for even me.
I want to be reasonable, enjoy you a few times a week - a healthy relationship, I think. That is reasonable. But I can't resist your over the top peanut-y yumminess of the peanut butter lovers edition - this morning I had you for breakfast and that is just not right. And at lunch, so wrong.
Luckily, it looks like I am in the minority, as I am writing this it looks like the chocolate lovers are far in the lead of the peanut butter v. chocolate vote. Maybe you won't be tempting me for much longer.
Until then, I just want to let you know, I will be avoiding your usual haunts - the Walgreen's candy aisle, the corner gas station. It is nothing personal, I still love you very much. I really do, but I just can't this kind of intensity from a candy. It's not you, it's me.
I hope you be with you again when your "limited" time is up. I want you so badly...
