I love it when I find a new crafty site (by find, of course, I mean it was on the TypePad featured blogs) - Wee Wonderfuls deserves your full attention please! I bow before the Temple of Craft and offer my fat quarters at the feet of Hillary. She is an über-goddess of craft. The purses! The quilts! The dollies! She has a great sense of style and color and a fabric collection that puts my footlocker of scraps to shame. I especially like the bag she posted about today, a basket bottom- so clever and cute! She is also fan of Asia craft books, as am I. I am inspired to clean my craft room and get my sewing machine all fixed up. I really want to make a little wrist clutch out of the fabric that was used to make the ugliest skirt in the world- it resembled a polka dot tent. I am definitely going to work on crafty things tonight... if I don't spend it reading her archives.***
Also, about a month ago I ordered the PDF of the first issue of Readymade magazine (Timmy and I are going to attempt to make the meat cart bed in that issue this summer - whoo! bed on wheels!). When they sent me the link, it didn't work and when I emailed them they realized they had some PHP coding problems (is that a thing? am I making that up? I don't know). Well, after a month of technical difficulties all my patience payed off, yesterday I got an email telling me that they will be refunding my $5 and today I got an email with links to the first FOUR issues for my troubles! Being stubborn works to my advantage yet again. I am awesome
*** after spending my lunch hour reading some of Wee Wonderfuls' archives, I realized I have seen her site before, specifically her Ewok troubles. It is a small, small internet.
