We have phone service. Finally. Surely it shouldn't take the Megalith AT&T a week to switch over phone service. I mean it's not like they have to get some guy up on a poll to string wire or anything. Push the damn button.
Speaking of pushing the button, Lost is on tonight.
Speaking of tonight, my big plans for the evening is checking to see if the tub leaks as the big ol' cracks in the bottom lead me to believe. Flooding, good times.
While I DO NOT have buyer's remorse, I am definitely remembering the horrors of buying a beat up old house. Luckily the old house was much more beat up so I can keep it in perspective. However with the old house I had money on hand to fix it up, while with the new house I have to wait until the old house sells (please, please, please). There is a metric crapload of repairs and remodeling to do. My mother is talking major re-hauls and I am like "Lady, step away from the ledge and leave your wallet on the dresser on you way out."
I was going to list here all the many and sundry things that need to repaired, replaced and removed, but really, you don't want to know.
Next week our DSL is switched over and I am drooling in anticipation. If I want to know my bank balance at 3:30AM I have to use the phone. The freakin' stone age here. Geez. Push the damn button already.
And just for Christian:
I had a chicken sandwich for lunch.
